Cape San Blas Sewer System Phase I Goes On Line.
Cape San Blas, Florida (June 16, 2006). Eric Pitts, Inspection Manager
for Preble-Rish Inc. Consulting Engineers stated today that Phase I of
the Cape San Blas Sewer Project has been accepted by the City of Port
St. Joe and approved by the Department of Environmental Protection.
Pitts said that Phase I of the Cape Sewer Project is now operational
and runs from the Port St. Joe City Plant to the master lift station
located near the Jubilation Subdivision, an Ashwood Development, on Cape
San Blas.
Pitts said that Phase I of the Cape San Blas Sewer Project included
the installation of over 101,000 feet of 8 inch and 16 inch force
mains. Pitts said that Phase II of the Cape San Blas Sewer Project
runs from the lift station outside of the Jubilation Development to
the master lift station located on the north side of the Ovation
Subdivision, an
Ashwood Development located on Cape San Blas. Pitts said that Phase II
of the Cape Sewer Project has been approved by the Department of
Environmental Protection but will not be accepted by the City of St.
Joe until the Ovation Development lift stations are operational
sometime within the next few weeks.
Ovation at Cape San Blas Amenities Coming Soon....
Cape San Blas, Florida (June 16, 2006). The Ashwood Development
Company announced today that they are close to awarding contracts for
the construction of two amenity building at their Ovation on Cape San
Blas Development. Rick Hanson, Vice President of Operations for the
Ashwood Development Company, stated that these two amenities will be
the corner stone of this development offering a comfortable and quiet
setting for families to meet their neighbors and to enjoy the scenic
beauty of both the beach and the bay. Hanson said that ground breaking
for the amenities will take place within the next three weeks.
